Role description
Role Title: DevOps Engineer – AWS Location: Redmond, WA, United States (Local candidates only) We are looking for a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer with 4–8 years of experience to join our team in Redmond, WA. This role focuses on building, maintaining, and optimizing cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines within AWS environments. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in Kubernetes (EKS/AKS), CI/CD, and infrastructure as code. Key Responsibilities: • Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure infrastructure on AWS (EKS, S3, RDS, etc.) • Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters (EKS, AKS) • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using TeamCity and GitHub • Write Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK and TypeScript • Create and manage Helm Charts for Kubernetes deployments • Monitor systems and applications using Splunk • Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployment processes • Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues efficiently • Maintain technical documentation and enforce infrastructure standards • Implement security, backup, and disaster recovery best practices • Stay current with industry trends and evolving DevOps tools Required Skills & Qualifications: • 4–8 years of hands-on experience in DevOps engineering • Strong expertise in AWS Cloud Services (EKS, S3, RDS, etc.) • Proven experience with Kubernetes (EKS, AKS) • Proficiency with TeamCity and GitHub for CI/CD • Experience with AWS CDK and TypeScript • Skilled in developing and maintaining Helm Charts • Experience with Splunk for monitoring and logging • Solid understanding of DevOps practices and infrastructure automation • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field Nice to Have: • Experience with containerization tools (Docker, etc.) • Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana • Exposure to Agile methodologies • Understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks
