Onsite β Greenwood Village, CO (4 days per week onsite)
Local
Key Responsibilities:
Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support, including managing incoming customer tickets and resolving AWS system incidents (approx. 25%)
Design, build, and manage automated deployment pipelines using Terraform and Python
Improve infrastructure performance, reliability, and observability by applying SRE principles (approx. 50%)
Monitor AWS environments and develop automated solutions for incident response and system health
Analyze AWS usage and implement cost optimization strategies to reduce spend (approx. 25%)
Support provisioning and de-provisioning of cloud resources in accordance with best practices
Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and operational runbooks
Required Skills & Experience:
Hands-on AWS infrastructure experience, particularly with EC2 and core services
Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and operational tooling
Experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Solid understanding of monitoring and observability within AWS
Experience with AWS resource provisioning, maintenance, and cost management
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills related to production systems
Nice to Have:
Familiarity with site reliability engineering (SRE) practices and culture
Experience designing scalable, resilient cloud architectures
Exposure to AWS native tools for logging, alerting, and compliance (e.g., CloudWatch, Config, GuardDuty)
Knowledge of DevOps pipelines, CI/CD processes, and Git-based workflows
