Job Title: AWS DevOps (Java) Engineer Location: Remote (preferred in Phoenix, AZ) Duration: Up to 24 months Job Description: We are hiring for a hands-on AWS DevOps Engineer to join a dynamic and collaborative team that is currently transitioning to a modern cloud-native stack . Ideal candidates will have strong DevOps skills with a Java development background, and must be proactive, communicative, and engaged in team discussions. Key Responsibilities: • Implement, manage, and optimize AWS-based CI/CD pipelines. • Automate infrastructure and application deployments using Terraform, CloudFormation, and GitOps practices. • Collaborate with developers, architects, and product teams to support build, deployment, and operations. • Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve systems performance, scalability, and reliability. • Drive improvements in automation, tooling, and process maturity. Requirements: • 5+ years of DevOps experience, with hands-on AWS expertise • Prior experience or background in Java development is strongly preferred • Strong experience with CI/CD tools like GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions • Proficiency with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift). • Experience automating deployments with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools. • Excellent communication skills and team collaboration mindset.
