📣 Contract Opportunity: DevOps Engineer – Up to £660/day (Outside IR35) Location: Remote (Occasional travel to Glasgow may be required) Contract Length: Initial 6 months potentially extendable up to 23 Months. We’re looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to support a major public sector transformation programme focused on delivering secure, scalable infrastructure using modern cloud-native technologies. In this role, you’ll work as part of an Agile team to deliver complex infrastructure solutions, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to architectural decision-making. 🔧 Key Responsibilities: Build and manage Kubernetes infrastructure on AWS (EKS) Implement and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines Design and deploy infrastructure using Terraform Operate in a GitOps-driven environment Collaborate with cross-functional teams using tools like Jira, Confluence, Slack, and MS Teams Attend Agile ceremonies and proactively contribute to continuous improvement ✅ What You’ll Need: 5+ years in a senior DevOps or platform engineering role Deep hands-on experience with Kubernetes, particularly on AWS Strong background in Terraform, Helm, Git, and Linux Proven experience building secure, scalable cloud infrastructure Knowledge of Istio, mTLS, secrets management, and configuration management Understanding of security best practices and automated testing within infrastructure 💡 Bonus Skills (Nice to Have): Familiarity with Terragrunt, ArgoCD, and vulnerability scanning tools Experience supporting Java applications and AWS migration projects Background in regulated environments such as government or finance Existing SC clearance or BPSS is must to start- ideally looking for someone who holds the clearance or someone happy to If you're a self-starter who thrives in high-impact environments and meets the essential criteria, we'd love to hear from you. 📩 Apply now with your CV to discuss further.
