Job Description:
β’ We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to be responsible for supporting our company's ongoing projects. You will be working closely with your team members to ensure that all software requirements, deadlines, and schedules are on track. Responsibilities include working with Customers to understand requests/builds, ensure quality of software, and delivering said products on time.
β’ To be a successful candidate, you will need to have proven experience in software development, worked directly with a customer, have strong GIT/Gerrit experience, and strong experience merging C code.
β’ A bachelorβs degree is required, and experience in GNSS product development is desirable.
β’ You will be tasked with leading a R&D software delivery project to support the organization's strategic direction. You will be required to work with local and international groups to successfully release innovative products.
Requirements:
β’ Design and implement new methods of automated build creation and delivery
β’ Monitoring baseline health via integration testing.
β’ Follow-up and drive resolution of any test issues that are present in software baseline.
β’ Work directory with customers to understand requests and make informed decisions based on those requests
β’ Create SW deliverables made of multiple CLs from other developers
β’ Manage and own SW branches
β’ 10% Travel Required
Minimum Qualifications: -
β’ Bachelorβs degree or masterβs degree in engineering, business or related field.
β’ Familiarity with the continuous integration process and the use of GIT
β’ Ability to code Python, HTML, JavaScript, and C
β’ A self-driven engineer with good task execution skills to deliver high quality output in timely manner
Preferred Qualifications
β’ Masterβs degree in software engineering or computer science
β’ Demonstrated ability to work as a team player as part of a local and globally distributed team
β’ Strong mathematical and analytical abilities
β’ Solid communication and documentation skills
β’ Good understanding of GNSS principles, from signal generation, transmission, reception, measurement construction and final position generation.
