Position: DevOps Engineer Rate: 45-50/hr on W2 – Open to additional flex for the right candidate Length: 6-12 Month Contract to Hire Location: Palm Beach Gardens, FL Onsite Requirements : 5 days a week onsite Description: Responsible for the development and integration of new or existing applications into the technical infrastructure and existing business processes. Provides technical or functional guidance to project or work teams as needed within a specific discipline. Collaborates on an on-going basis with the Business Systems Analyst. Analyzes, designs, develops, tests, debugs, implements, maintains and/or enhances existing or new systems that are reliable and efficient. Must Haves: AWS CICD Ideally GitHub Actions but open to similar tools Requirements : • Focus on AWS, GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines, and automation (including containerization with ECS/Fargate, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform). • Minimum 2 years DevOps experience preferred; background in infrastructure/cloud or applications acceptable. • Managing AWS infrastructure, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD pipelines • Providing general DevOps support for the IT team, not tied to a specific project • Handling ServiceNow database-related tickets, such as upgrades and assessing application impact • Support ServiceNow database tickets, perform documentation, and assist with server upgrades and application impact analysis. • Creating and maintaining documentation related to database support and ticket resolution • Collaborating with a small IT team within the Power Generation Division, supporting data scientists, software developers, and field technicians EEO Employer Apex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
