ABOUT THE ROLE:
Top Required Skills:
β’ 3+ years of experience in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) role.
β’ Extensive hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
β’ Solid understanding of Windows/Linux Server administration and integration with cloud environments.
β’ Proven experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools, specifically Terraform (OpenTofu) and AWS CDK.
β’ Strong experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD.
β’ Experience deploying and managing .NET applications in cloud environments.
Interview Process (how many rounds and any details)- 3 total rounds plus an exercise. 1st round interview β then exercise to be completed within 5 days of interview, then after review of exercise, 2nd round and a final round (one of the last 2 rounds will be on-site)

A Typical Day
Weβre looking for an experienced, forward-thinking engineer to strengthen our DevOps capabilities across AWS and Windows/Linux environments. In this role, youβll drive the design and evolution of scalable, secure, and automated infrastructure to support our Infrastructure and Application stack. Youβll work closely with development teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines, embed security best practices, and champion infrastructure-as-code. If youβre passionate about automation, cloud-native patterns, and making systems run smarter and faster, we want to hear from you.
β’ Design, implement, and manage scalable and resilient infrastructure on AWS.
β’ Architect and maintain Windows/Linux based environments, ensuring seamless integration with cloud platforms.
β’ Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code(IaC) using both AWS Cloudformation/CDK and Terraform.
β’ Develop and maintain Configuration Management for Windows servers using Chef.
β’ Design, build, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD for .NET applications.
β’ Implement and enforce security best practices across the infrastructure and deployment processes.
β’ Collaborate closely with development teams to understand their needs and provide DevOps expertise.
β’ Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application deployment issues.
β’ Implement and manage monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system visibility and proactive issue detection.
β’ Clearly and concisely contribute to the development and documentation of DevOps standards and best practices.
β’ Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in cloud computing, DevOps, and security.
β’ Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
What Youβll Bring
β’ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
β’ 3+ years of experience in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) role.
β’ Extensive hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
β’ Solid understanding of Windows/Linux Server administration and integration with cloud environments.
β’ Proven experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools, specifically Terraform (OpenTofu) and AWS CDK.
β’ Strong experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD.
β’ Experience deploying and managing .NET applications in cloud environments.
β’ Deep understanding of security best practices and their implementation in cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
β’ Solid understanding of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, firewalls) in cloud environments.
β’ Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., NewRelic, CloudWatch, Cloud Logging, Prometheus).
β’ Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Ruby, PowerShell, Bash).
β’ Experience with the configuration management tool Chef
β’ Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
β’ Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
β’ Experience with containerization & orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
β’ Relevant AWS and/or GCP certifications are a plus.
β’ Strong understanding of Powershell and Python Scripting
β’ Strong background with AWS EC2 features and Services (Autoscaling and WarmPools)
β’ Understanding of Windows server Build process using tools like Chocolaty for packages and Packer for AMI/Image generation.
β’ Solid experience with the Windows server operating system and server tools such as IIS.
