Role: Azure DevOps (ADO) Support Specialist
Location: Derby
Contract: 10 months +
Clearance: Active SC Clearance required
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Azure DevOps (ADO) Support Specialist to provide hands-on technical support, training, and operational enablement for ADO within a highly secure environment. This role will focus on ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, supporting end users, and continuously improving knowledge resources to enhance system adoption and performance.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Provide end-user setup, onboarding, and training, including creation of knowledge base articles within ServiceNow.
β’ Deliver high-level base training and enablement on ADO concepts for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
β’ Offer BAU (Business-as-Usual) support, resolving tickets, queries, and incidents related to ADO usage.
β’ Configure and maintain ADO pipelines, ensuring functionality and alignment with operational requirements.
β’ Support ongoing tool maintenance, including updates, patching, and applying security fixes.
β’ Conduct discovery and documentation of the existing environment and configuration.
β’ Maintain an accurate issue log and generate new knowledge articles to enhance support efficiency.
β’ Carry out quarterly ticket volume analysis to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Skills & Experience Required
β’ Proven hands-on experience with Azure DevOps administration and support.
β’ Strong understanding of ADO concepts, including pipelines, repositories, and work item tracking.
β’ Background in supporting enterprise-scale IT environments.
β’ Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve technical queries and incidents.
β’ Experience creating training materials, documentation, and knowledge base content.
β’ Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools is desirable.
β’ Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
