We’re looking for a Senior DevOps/Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to help architect and operate the core platform infrastructure that will support this initiative. You’ll join a fast-moving, cross-functional team spanning platform, development, and infrastructure streams. This is a greenfield contract opportunity ideal for someone who thrives in highly collaborative environments and is motivated by building from the ground up. We’re kicking off an exciting new engagement to design and implement an AI Robotic Welding solution for a UK-based client. The initial phase will focus on defining the delivery roadmap in close collaboration with the client. The role is hybrid (UK-based), and preference will be given to candidates who already hold, or are eligible to obtain, MOD security clearance. Market rates apply. Key Responsibilities • Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or GitLab • Deploy, operate, and manage Kubernetes clusters in production • Containerize services using Docker and manage associated registries • Implement telemetry, logging, and monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) • Build dashboards and configure automated alerts to ensure platform reliability • Collaborate closely with development teams to align infrastructure with application needs • Contribute to early-stage platform architecture and infrastructure-as-code automation (e.g., Terraform) Ideal Experience • 5+ years of experience in DevOps or SRE roles, ideally within high-compliance or infrastructure-heavy domains • Proven track record with Kubernetes (E2E deployment, scaling, and ops) • Hands-on expertise in building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines • Solid experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration tools • Familiar with telemetry/observability stacks (Grafana, Prometheus) • Experience working across multiple cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP) • Comfortable with Infrastructure as Code frameworks like Terraform • Bonus: Experience with GitOps tooling (ArgoCD, Flux) or in domains such as AI/ML or robotics • Bonus: Eligibility or clearance for UK MOD security checks [PUBLISHED]
