Job Title: Senior Dev-SecOps Engineer
Primary skills: Dev-SecOps Engineer, Guidewire, Property & Casualty Insurance
Location: Piscataway, NJ or Erie, PA(Onsite)
Responsibilities
Following are the day-to-day work activities:
β’ CI/CD Pipeline Management: Design, implement, and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for Guidewire applications using tools like TeamCity, GitLab CI, and others.
β’ Infrastructure Automation: Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
β’ Monitoring and Logging: Implement and manage monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system reliability, performance, and security.
β’ Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
β’ Security: Enhance the security of the IT infrastructure and ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
β’ Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve infrastructure and application issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
β’ Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures.
Requirements
Candidates are required to have these mandatory skills to get the eligibility of their profile assessed. The must have requirements are:
β’ Educational Background: Bachelorβs degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
β’ Experience:
β’ 6-10 years of experience in a DevOps or systems engineering role.
β’ Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
β’ Technical Skills:
β’ Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Power Shell). (2-3 years)
β’ Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI). (3-5 yrs)
β’ Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).- good to have.
β’ Strong understanding of networking, security, and system administration. ((3-5 yrs)
β’ Familiarity with monitoring tools such as DynaTrace/Datadog / Splunk
β’ Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
β’ Soft Skills:
β’ Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
β’ Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
β’ Ability to work independently
