Role description
Job Title: DevSecOps Engineer Job Description Join our team as a DevSecOps Engineer, where you will have the opportunity to learn and grow in a dynamic environment. You will collaborate with a small, dedicated team that values engineering rigor and innovation. As part of our team, you will design, implement, and maintain Infrastructure as Code to provision and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure. Responsibilities β€’ Collaborate with a small team on large-scale systems, prioritizing engineering rigor. β€’ Design, implement, and maintain Infrastructure as Code for scalable and secure cloud infrastructure. β€’ Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable and efficient software delivery. β€’ Support cloud environments by identifying and resolving infrastructure issues, improving reliability through automation and monitoring. β€’ Improve system observability through logging, tracing, and monitoring. β€’ Contribute to the long-term technical roadmap and influence architectural decisions. β€’ Participate in on-call rotation shifts to ensure production environment uptime and performance. Essential Skills β€’ 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability, or Cloud Engineering roles. β€’ Proven ability to design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable infrastructure in GCP and/or AWS. β€’ Strong knowledge of CI/CD, preferably with GitHub Actions. β€’ Experience managing and securing containerized environments with tools like Docker Compose or Kubernetes. β€’ Proficient in scripting and passionate about automation. β€’ Ability to work independently and cross-functionally in fast-paced environments. Additional Skills & Qualifications β€’ Hands-on production experience with network security and Zero Trust Networking principles. β€’ Experience with security compliance initiatives and audit preparation (SOC2, NIST 800-207, EU CRA). β€’ Troubleshooting experience across Linux servers, Docker containers, and cloud infrastructure. β€’ Operational expertise with Cloudflare services (CDN, DNS, WAF, Load Balancing). β€’ Experience with Nix for maintaining reproducible development environments. β€’ Prior experience supporting an Elixir ecosystem.
