Summary
The DevSecOps Engineer will support the Azure Data Architect in implementing secure, automated, and reliable data and cloud platforms. The role focuses on CI/CD, infrastructure automation, platform security, monitoring, and operational support across Azure data & analytics environments.
Responsibilities
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Azure data workloads.
• Implement IaC (Terraform/Bicep/ARM) to provision secure cloud resources.
• Support data pipeline workflows (Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks).
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and cost optimization.
• Integrate SAST/DAST, vulnerability scans, and compliance checks into pipelines.
• Troubleshoot, document, and support ongoing platform operations.
Required Skills
• 4–7 years in DevOps/Cloud Engineering roles.
• Strong experience in Azure services, IaC (Terraform/Bicep), and CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps/GitHub).
• Knowledge of containers (Docker/Kubernetes), microservices, and scripting (PowerShell/Python).
• Good understanding of cloud security, RBAC, zero-trust, and identity management.
• Familiarity with data platforms: ADF, Synapse, Databricks preferred.
• Experience with monitoring (Azure Monitor/Log Analytics).
Preferred Certifications
• Azure Administrator / Security Engineer / DevOps Engineer
• Terraform certification (nice to have)
