Company Link: R Systems | Digital Product Engineering Position Overview: As a Senior DevSecOps Engineer at R Systems, you will play a key role for building and operating the CI/CD and GitOps framework, infrastructure automation, and associated security controls for the automation platform. Working across pipeline automation, environment promotion, and platform reliability. Senior roles: the successful candidates will operate autonomously, own pipeline and infrastructure delivery, and set good engineering practice. Key Responsibilities: • Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines with quality gates and automated environment promotion (dev → staging → production). • Implement GitOps workflows for declarative, version-controlled deployments. • Develop infrastructure-as-code (Ansible playbooks, OpenShift operators, IaC templates) to automate provisioning and configuration. • Manage container orchestration on OpenShift / Kubernetes. • Implement and maintain security controls in the pipeline — secrets management, mTLS, access management, and SIEM integration. • Support disaster-recovery automation (failover, backup pipelines, DR drills). • Contribute to observability and platform reliability (monitoring, alerting, operational runbooks). REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE • 5+ years of professional experience in CI/CD, DevOps, or platform engineering, with production ownership of pipelines and infrastructure. • Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tooling and pipeline design. • Proficiency with GitOps tooling (e.g. ArgoCD or FluxCD) and version-controlled deployment practices. • Solid experience with OpenShift / Kubernetes and containerisation. • Infrastructure-as-code experience, especially Ansible. • Understanding of DevSecOps practices (secrets management, vulnerability management, secure pipelines). • Scripting skills (e.g. Bash, Python). • Ability to work autonomously and set good engineering practice. DESIRABLE (NOT MANDATORY) • Knowledge of TM Forum standards / Autonomous Networks concepts. • Experience applying AI to automation workflows. • Telecom / network operations domain exposure. • Experience with HashiCorp Vault, Prometheus/Grafana, and SIEM platforms.
