DevSecOps Engineer

Job Title: DevSecops Engineer Location: Herndon, VA Job Type: Contract We are looking for a skilled DevSecOps Engineer with strong experience in cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes-based deployments, CI/CD automation, and security integration within enterprise platforms. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in AWS cloud services, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), Kubernetes (EKS), Docker, Helm, Jenkins, and ArgoCD-based GitOps deployments. The engineer will be responsible for building, automating, securing, and supporting scalable cloud-native environments across multiple tenant platforms. Key Responsibilities • Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitOps practices with ArgoCD. • Manage and support Kubernetes (EKS) environments, namespaces, ingress controllers, and Helm deployments. • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform. • Implement security best practices across cloud infrastructure, containerized workloads, and deployment pipelines. • Support AWS services including EKS, IAM, ECR, RDS Aurora, S3, CloudWatch, WAF, GuardDuty, Cognito, and OpenSearch. • Configure monitoring, logging, vulnerability scanning, and observability solutions. • Collaborate with development, platform, and architecture teams to streamline deployments and operational processes. • Manage secrets, access control, and identity integrations using Keycloak, Cognito, Kubernetes Secrets, and AWS Secrets Manager. • Troubleshoot deployment, networking, and infrastructure issues across environments.
