Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced DevSecOps Engineer to join our innovative Cloud Operations team. This role is instrumental in enhancing developer experience by architecting, deploying, and optimizing our Internal Developer Portal (IDP).
You will empower development teams with self-service capabilities, enabling efficient deployment and configuration of infrastructure and applications through guided βgolden paths.β
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Developer Portal Ownership:
β’ Architect, design, implement, and maintain the Internal Developer Portal to support developer self-service.
β’ Golden Path Development:
β’ Create and manage reusable templates and golden paths for infrastructure provisioning and app deployment, embedding security and compliance best practices.
β’ Platform Integration:
β’ Integrate the portal with CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes/cloud providers, Kafka, Airflow, RBAC, ServiceNow, APIs, and other tools.
β’ DevSecOps Best Practices:
β’ Champion DevSecOps principles across the portal and associated workflows, embedding security from the outset.
β’ Developer Experience Enhancement:
β’ Collaborate with development teams to gather feedback and improve the portalβs usability and effectiveness.
β’ Tooling and Automation:
β’ Evaluate, select, and implement new tools to extend the portalβs capabilities.
β’ Troubleshooting & Support:
β’ Provide technical support for the portal and related infrastructure.
β’ Documentation:
β’ Maintain comprehensive documentation for the portal, templates, and usage guidelines.
Required Qualifications:
β’ Hands-on experience with Port.io or similar IDP platforms
β’ Experience in creating/managing software catalog components
β’ Programming experience in Python, Go, or Bash
β’ Familiarity with Vulnerability Management and App Scanning processes
β’ Proven experience in a DevSecOps role or similar
β’ Strong knowledge of cloud-native technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker, AWS/Azure/GCP)
β’ Proficient in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Argo CD)
β’ Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi)
β’ Strong communication and collaboration skills
