DevSecOps Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer (AWS) for a Contract job with a client in Chandler, AZ(Hybrid). Ideally looking for applicants with a solid background in the financial services industry. Rate Range: $80/hour to $90/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Overview: We are seeking a DevSecOps Engineer with strong AWS expertise who has a deep understanding of cloud security, architecture, and infrastructure automation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Terraform, CI/CD pipeline management, and developing reusable infrastructure modules in AWS. This role will focus on integrating security best practices throughout the development and deployment lifecycle. Key Responsibilities • Design, implement, and manage secure AWS cloud infrastructure. • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated application deployment. • Develop and manage Terraform modules for infrastructure as code. • Integrate security best practices into DevOps pipelines and cloud architecture. • Work closely with development, security, and operations teams to ensure secure and efficient deployments. • Implement security controls, monitoring, and compliance standards within the AWS environment. • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management. Required Skills • Strong experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS). • Hands-on experience with Terraform and infrastructure as code. • Experience managing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar). • Solid understanding of cloud security principles and security architecture. • Experience developing Terraform modules and reusable infrastructure components. • Knowledge of containerization and cloud-native technologies is a plus. • Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
