Role description
Role: Digital Analytics Executive– Fixed Term 12 month contract
Location: Hybrid in York 2 days per week onsite
Salary: £30K per annum
Position Overview:
Elevation Recruitment are collaborating with a leading company in the heart of York. Responsible for the analysis and recommendation to improve the 150 websites and corporate websites.
Working with a lot of autonomy to secure we have the right technical set up to analyse the website portfolio, conduct required analysis leading to recommendations of what needs improvements.
Work with internal and external teams to help assess digital tools (including PPC, UX, SEO).
This requires someone who has experience in Digital analysis with a good mix of technical skills, analytics and ability to recommend action based on facts.
Responsibilities:
• Set up and manage analytics tools for the portfolio
• Set up and manage tags within Google Tag Manager
• Create and maintain dashboards to visualise key metrics which can be communicated with internal and external stakeholders
• Coordinate with Senior PPC Exec to successfully execute PPC campaigns, including:
• Carry out website changes to support the campaign
• Implement all tagging via Google Tag Manager
• Analyse and recommend improvement on websites performance for the portfolio
• Analyse website traffic across practice and corporate websites, identifying areas of success and improvements
• Use heatmaps and event tracking to analyse user behaviour, reporting these to the wider digital team
• Collaborate with digital team to implement improvements and collectively develop a template for best-in-class practice websites across each section (Small Animal, Mixed, Farm and Equine) to then be shared with the wider central and EU team
• Conduct A/B testing to evaluate the impact of changes to website design, content or functionalitY
• Working on Word Press CMS to build and develop veterinary practice websites and other websites within the digital estate, driving visibility and conversion rates
• Support broader analysis across the Marketing team (campaigns effectiveness, internal communication effectiveness …)
Person specification:
• Solid understanding and practical experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager (GTM), Looker Studio and Word Press .
• Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting.

• Analytical and problem-solving: ability to analyse complex data to come to recommendation, use data to gain insights and drive decisions.
• Communication and collaboration: Great written and oral communication, presentation skills. Capacity to work with various teams.
