SharePoint SPFX Developer

Job Title: SharePoint SPFX Developer Pay Rate: £500 – £550 IR35 Status: Inside Security Clearance: SC required Contract Duration: 4 months Location: Hybrid – occasional onsite travel Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced SC Cleared SharePoint SPFx Developer with a strong background in building and deploying custom solutions using the SharePoint Framework. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of React, TypeScript, and the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, with a focus on delivering modern, responsive, and accessible SharePoint applications. Key Skills & Experience Required: SPFx & SharePoint Development: • Minimum 3 years’ hands-on experience with SPFx • Integration with SharePoint REST APIs, lists, and libraries • Familiarity with SharePoint Online architecture, permissions, and PnP JS library Frontend Development: • Strong skills in React (including Hooks and state management), TypeScript, and JavaScript • Experience with Fluent UI, HTML5, CSS/SCSS, and responsive design • Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and cross-browser compatibility • Testing experience with Jest or similar frameworks Tooling & DevOps: • Proficiency with Node.js, npm, webpack, gulp, and Visual Studio Code • Experience with Git version control and collaborative workflows • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) • Performance optimization techniques (lazy loading, code splitting, etc.) Desirable: • Integration/end-to-end testing using Playwright or Cypress • Understanding of modern build and deployment practices Apply now or contact chris.bryan@comxps.com for more info
