Kforce has a client in San Diego, CA that is seeking a Digital Business Analyst II. Summary: The Digital Business Analyst will collaborate closely with other analysts, developers and designers to ensure system functionality aligns with business requirements and compliance standards. The Digital Business Analyst performs complex tasks with some oversight such as developing business cases, experience storyboards, personas, digital requirements management and contributing to the system deliverables and user documentation. Primary Responsibilities:
β’ Lead and facilitate cross departmental teams to transform business requirements into user and functional requirements
β’ Work with UI/UX designers and other technology teams to document business needs for digital project deliverables
β’ Write and maintain software requirements specifications that are clear, complete and executable
β’ Ensure that requirements are understood by development team and perform functional analysis when detail is needed
β’ Verify technical design specifications meet user requirements
β’ Develop a variety of models and diagrams including system context models, data flow diagrams and use case diagrams
β’ Create user scenarios for user acceptance testing
β’ Over time, develop deep domain knowledge on key applications
β’ Works with the Project Manager to determine project task estimates, deadlines and deliverables, simultaneously working on multiple projects
β’ Perform gap analysis and define gap closure strategies
Requirements
β’ Strong SQL, Pyspark, matplotlib, seaborn, pandas, numpy experience
β’ Strong clickstream familiarity and EDA skills
β’ Experience in Databricks, Qlik, Tableau
β’ Passionate about LLMs and their enterprise-level use cases
β’ Some ETL experience
β’ Familiarity with the business of consumer-facing software and product analysis (events & sessions as levels of granularity, funnels, engagement)
β’ Experience managing requirements with Use Cases
β’ Experience creating Software Requirements Specifications
β’ Working knowledge of software development methodologies particularly in the digital space
β’ Strong experience creating User Stories defining business needs for digital solutions
β’ Working knowledge of Web Technologies
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
