Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented AI Data Engineer to join our team on a 10-month contract (8/1/2025–5/31/2026). This fully remote position will support the development of AI-powered and conversational experiences through advanced data engineering, analysis, and pipeline architecture. What You’ll Be Responsible For • Executing data requests from senior data scientists supporting AI initiatives • Performing ad hoc data pulls to support opportunity sizing and experimentation • Build and maintain data pipelines to support both existing and emerging AI agents. • Defining schemas and architecting scalable storage for large conversational datasets • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure data accessibility and usability Typical Day Breakdown • 50–60%: Hands-on development in SQL and Python (Databricks environment) • 10–20%: Data analysis to drive actionable insights • 10–20%: Collaboration with AI science, data engineering, and product teams Required Experience/Skills • Proficiency in SQL and PySpark for large-scale data processing. • Strong data visualization and exploration capabilities using tools such as matplotlib, seaborn, pandas, and numpy. • Hands-on experience with clickstream data analysis and exploratory data analysis (EDA). • Proficient in using Databricks for pipeline development and large-scale computation. • Familiarity with business metrics and consumer-facing product analytics (e.g., event/session-level granularity, funnel analysis, engagement metrics). Nice-to-Haves • Experience building ETL pipelines and supporting data infrastructure • Dashboarding and visualization using Qlik and Tableau • Knowledge or interest in LLMs and their enterprise applications • Proven success in integrating user-level data with conversational AI logs Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Pay & Benefits Summary Hourly Rate: $80.68 - $84.68/hr.
