Role description
Forensics Analyst Hybrid (4x per week onsite) - Bellevue, WA $34/hr + Benefits As a Digital Forensics Analyst, you'll be on the front lines, helping to protect our company and its data. Your daily tasks will include: β€’ Performing forensic preservation of digital media like laptops and desktops, ensuring every step follows strict chain-of-custody and evidence handling standards. β€’ Analyzing preserved data and preparing comprehensive reports for our Corporate Investigations and Legal Affairs teams. β€’ Managing and resolving cases using our ticket management tools, providing clear and consistent documentation. β€’ Collaborating with investigators, attorneys, and business partners to drive projects forward and provide regular updates. β€’ Assisting with data minimization projects and other data retention efforts. What We're Looking For We're seeking a team player who is dependable, detail-oriented, and has strong communication skills. Ideally, you have a technical background in Digital Forensics or a related field like Cybersecurity or IT. Required Skills and Experience: β€’ Familiarity with forensic tools such as EnCase, FTK, or Axiom. β€’ Experience with MS Office Suite, Purview, and Entra. β€’ Basic knowledge of scripting and SQL. β€’ Experience with Splunk or Snowflake. β€’ The ability to work with and interpret disparate datasets. β€’ Proficiency with ticket management systems. Preferred Experience: β€’ At least one year of experience in a Digital Forensics or Cybersecurity role.
