Role: Digital Marketing & Brand Development Coordinator (Part-Time FTC) Company Overview GXCEL Limited is a consultancy specialising in management accounting and financial advisory services for educational institutions. Our current client base is concentrated in the London Borough of Newham, but over the next 2–5 years, we aim to expand operations into the West Midlands, particularly the Birmingham area, while retaining select clients in London. To support this growth trajectory, we are seeking a dynamic and technically proficient Digital Marketing & Brand Development Coordinator to lead the digital transformation and brand elevation of the company. Role Purpose This role is ideal for a self-starter with a hybrid skill set across digital marketing, web development, brand strategy, and data-driven reporting. You will be responsible for enhancing GXCEL’s digital footprint, modernising its brand identity, and streamlining internal reporting processes using emerging technologies. Key Responsibilities Website Development: • Design and deploy a static, responsive website using a modern Content Management System (CMS) such as WordPress, WEBflow, or Squarespace. • Showcase company services, case studies, and deliverables in an accessible and professional format. • Ensure SEO best practices and basic analytics tracking (e.g., Google Analytics) are implemented. Brand Strategy & Visual Identity: • Lead a full brand redesign, including logo creation, typography, colour palette, brand guidelines, and potential name change. • Align visual identity with the company’s evolving service model and geographic expansion plans. Social Media Marketing: • Establish and manage a professional presence on platforms such as LinkedIn, with a focus on increasing brand awareness, engagement, and impressions. • Develop and schedule content that highlights expertise, client success stories, and thought leadership. • Monitor performance metrics and adjust strategy to optimise reach and engagement. Naming & Positioning: • Conduct market research to explore the feasibility of a new trading name that better reflects the company’s consultancy focus and future regional footprint. AI-Driven Reporting Tools: • Research and recommend AI-powered data visualisation platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or Google Looker Studio) to enhance client reporting. • Improve the clarity and impact of standardised written reports through automation and visual storytelling. Operational Enhancements: • Identify and implement digital tools or workflows that improve internal efficiency and client communication. • Propose scalable solutions that support future growth into new regions. Candidate Profile We are seeking someone who has: • Proven experience in digital marketing, web design, and brand development, preferably within an education-based context • Familiarity with CMS platforms and basic front-end design principles • Strong understanding of social media analytics, engagement strategies, and content planning/development • Ability to work independently and manage multiple deliverables within a part-time schedule Contract Details • Duration: 3–6 months subject to available funding • Hours: 16–20 hours per week (flexible scheduling) • Rate: Negotiable • Location: Remote, with occasional in-person meetings in London if/when required This is a unique opportunity to shape the digital and strategic direction of a growing consultancy.
