Director of Capital Markets with Cloud Transformation experience Location: New York City, NY (hybrid & need only locals to NY/NJ) Senior Managing Director with extensive experience in leading Cloud Transformation (Azure/AWS) for a very large Capital Markets enterprise. The Director of Capital Markets Cloud Technology will lead the strategic transformation and modernization of our Capital Markets technology platforms. This senior leadership role will be responsible for driving cloud migration, enhancing data and analytics capabilities, and leading innovation across front, middle, and back-office systems. The ideal candidate will have deep Capital Markets domain expertise, proven organizational leadership, and strong technical proficiency in cloud-native and data-centric architectures and have 15+ years of experience in Capital Markets technology, with deep knowledge of trading systems, market data, and post-trade infrastructures. Candidates must have proven experience leading large technical teams (50+ people), including engineers, analysts, and architects as well as strong hands-on understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), including security, networking, storage, and compute services. Demonstrated expertise with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Data Lake / Data Fabric architectures to meet Capital Markets data and analytics needs.
