Job Title: DuckCreek Developer Location: Remote Long term Contract Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop and support Duck Creek Policy / Billing Administration System for insurance products and lines of business that meet business and technical requirements. • Collaborate with Business Analysts and Subject Matter Experts to gather and validate insurance product requirements. • Work on the Duck Creek OnDemand ecosystem and develop products that are compliant with the Duck Creek Active Delivery model. • Work on code movement and deployment across test environments and assist the release management team with production deployments. • Integrate Duck Creek Policy application with third party APIs and other data sources. • Provide guidance, train, and mentor the Duck Creek team where applicable and incorporate industry best practices/standards. • Provide inputs to product testing and validation, scope and review artifacts. • Provide relevant information and report to business stakeholders by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues. Key Requirements: • 8 years of experience in professional software development with 5 years of experience in Property & Casualty Insurance domain. • 5 years of experience in configuring Duck Creek Policy components like Underwriting/Rules, Pages, Rating, TransACT and Forms. • 5 years of experience on Duck Creek Platform tools and applications like Server, Author, ManuScripts, Express, User Admin, Trace Monitor, Util. • 2 years of experience on Duck Creek OnDemand Platform version 8.x. (For Policy or Billing) • 2 years of experience with Duck Creek Anywhere APIs, AMIs, Composed Requests. • 2 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft .NET, XML, XPath, XSLT, SQL, C#. • 1 year of experience in providing training on Duck Creek Policy Platform • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Information Systems preferred.
