Technical Engineer Senior | Level III (APM, Dynatrace)

What Will You Do?
In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring optimal application and infrastructure performance across our enterprise environment, working with APM (Application Performance Management) and other performance software to support critical business systems.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Lead application performance triage efforts, diagnosing and resolving complex performance issues across distributed systems
β’ Support the management and optimization of Dynatrace, our enterprise APM platform
β’ Consult with application teams, infrastructure teams, and stakeholders to identify performance issues and implement solutions
β’ Participate in incident response for performance-related production issues
β’ Create documentation and runbooks for performance monitoring and triage processes
Required Qualifications
β’ 5+ years of experience in performance engineering or similar roles
β’ Strong expertise with APM tools, Dynatrace is preferred (other tools such as AppDynamics, Datadog or New Relic are a plus)
β’ Experience supporting large enterprise environments
β’ Deep understanding of application performance triage methodologies and root cause analysis
β’ Experience with distributed systems, microservices architectures, and cloud platforms
β’ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
β’ Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
β’ Experience working collaboratively across multiple teams and organizations
Preferred Qualifications
β’ Experience with infrastructure monitoring tools and practices
β’ Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
β’ Experience with performance testing tools and methodologies (JMeter, LoadRunner, Neoload, etc.)
β’ Mainframe performance monitoring and optimization experience
β’ Network performance monitoring experience and tools (Wireshark, ThousandEyes, etc.)
β’ Familiarity with chaos engineering principles and tools (Gremlin, Chaos Monkey, etc.)
