Dynatrace Engineer

Duration: 6+ months Compensation: $60-70/hr Responsibilities: • Deploy, configure, and maintain Dynatrace OneAgent across a variety of platforms (cloud, on-prem, hybrid). • Develop and manage custom dashboards, alerts, and reports tailored to business and operational needs. • Collaborate with DevOps, Development, and Infrastructure teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and service-level objectives (SLOs). • Analyze performance data to detect anomalies, troubleshoot issues, and improve system reliability. • Automate monitoring processes and integrate Dynatrace with other systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, Splunk, CI/CD tools). • Participate in incident response and post-mortem reviews, leveraging Dynatrace for root-cause analysis. • Provide training and documentation for internal teams on Dynatrace best practices and usage. • Stay current on new features, capabilities, and industry best practices related to observability and application performance monitoring. Requirements: • 3+ years of experience with application performance monitoring tools; 2+ year hands-on with Dynatrace. • Experience with monitoring of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP). • Strong understanding of application architectures, including microservices, containers, and serverless. • Knowledge of networking, databases, web servers, and infrastructure components. • Familiarity with scripting or automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash, Terraform). • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
