Role description
Role: Business Analyst β Eagle
Location: Boston, MA
Responsibilities
β’ Gather and analyze business requirements from front, middle, and back-office stakeholders.
β’ Design and implement solutions within Eagleβs STAR, PACE, and SRM modules.
β’ Support daily operations, batch processes, data loads, and exception management within Eagle.
β’ Configure Eagle components to handle trade, position, pricing, benchmark, and performance data.
β’ Perform data mapping and transformation logic using Eagle Message Center and EJM.
β’ Write and debug PL/SQL, Eagle macros, and scripts to extract, load, and transform data.
β’ Collaborate with upstream/downstream systems (e.g., Bloomberg, Markit, CRD, Aladdin) to ensure smooth data flow.
β’ Assist in performance tuning, job monitoring, and issue resolution for Eagle data workflows.
β’ Create and maintain functional specifications, test cases, SOPs, and UAT plans.
β’ Liaise with Eagle support (BNY Mellon) for platform upgrades, patches, and enhancements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
β’ 5β8+ years of experience with Eagle Investment Systems (STAR, PACE, SRM, etc.).
β’ Strong functional knowledge of investment data β trades, positions, NAV, security reference, performance.
β’ Hands-on experience with:
β’ EJM (Enterprise Job Manager)
β’ Message Center and Panels
β’ PL/SQL or Oracle DB scripts
β’ Batch job configuration and exception management
β’ Familiarity with data warehousing, ETL pipelines, and reporting tools.
β’ Excellent communication skills to interact with business and technical teams.
β’ Experience working in Agile and Waterfall project environments.
β’ Mandatory: Prior experience working with banking/financial services clients.
