EDM Support Analyst Edinburgh / Hybrid Β£negotiable Inside IR35 β€’ β€’ Please note this is not a generic Support Analyst role but a specialist EDM position with deep experience in financial / investment technologies required β€’ β€’ Join a leading financial services organisation at the heart of a strategic data transformation programme. We’re looking for an experienced EDM Support Analyst to provide crucial support and optimisation for a key enterprise data management platform underpinning critical investment operations. The Opportunity: This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a high-impact data programme modernising and simplifying how investment-related data is sourced, mastered, and distributed. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across IT and investment teams, supporting a managed data service that replaces a legacy in-house system. What You’ll Be Doing: β€’ Maintain and monitor an enterprise EDM platform to ensure high availability and performance β€’ Troubleshoot issues and support end-users, including investment analysts and portfolio managers β€’ Implement enhancements driven by business and regulatory needs β€’ Deliver training and create technical documentation for effective user engagement β€’ Collaborate in agile and waterfall environments, contributing to process improvements and knowledge sharing What We’re Looking For: β€’ Deep understanding of data used in investment operations (pricing, securities, entity data) β€’ Strong experience with EDM platforms, i.e. Markit EDM β€’ Experience working with market data vendors (e.g., Bloomberg, LSEG, ICE) β€’ Strong SQL Server and Windows Server skills β€’ Previous involvement in both project and BAU data initiatives β€’ Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently β€’ Strong communication and documentation abilities Why Join? β€’ Be part of a transformative programme reshaping data operations β€’ Work in a supportive, hybrid working environment β€’ Make a tangible impact on performance and efficiency in the investment space Ready to bring your expertise to a dynamic and forward-thinking data initiative?
