This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise-level data warehouse systems. The EDW Informatica ETL Developer will focus on creating robust, efficient, and scalable ETL processes that support healthcare-related data operations. This position requires expertise in Informatica PowerCenter, Teradata, and advanced SQL, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, system performance, and timely delivery. The role balances hands-on technical work with mentoring and knowledge sharing, helping the organization implement best practices in data integration, automation, and performance optimization.
Accountabilities
β’ Design, develop, and maintain ETL solutions using Informatica PowerCenter to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources
β’ Automate data staging processes and optimize ETL job scheduling for performance and efficiency
β’ Administer and support ETL environments, including development, testing, and production systems
β’ Develop mappings, mapplets, sessions, and workflows using Informatica transformations, ensuring data quality and consistency
β’ Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize ETL jobs, SQL queries, and Unix Shell scripts for data marts and interfaces
β’ Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, document technical solutions, and support project planning
β’ Provide mentoring, guidance, and technical support to team members while sharing best practices
β’ Participate in unit, integration, and system testing to ensure deliverables meet quality and performance standards
Requirements
β’ 7+ years of experience with Informatica PowerCenter and ETL development
β’ 5+ years of experience with complex SQL and performance tuning
β’ 5+ years of experience with enterprise RDBMS (Teradata, DB2, Oracle, or SQL Server)
β’ 5+ years of Informatica PowerCenter administration experience
β’ Bachelor's or advanced degree in IT, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
β’ Strong communication, collaboration, mentoring, and organizational skills
β’ Preferred: data warehouse development experience, data modeling (ERWIN or similar), Unix Shell scripting (Bash/Korn), Azure Data Factory, Snowflake, scripting languages (Python, R, JavaScript), Informatica Data Quality tools, and familiarity with healthcare data (Medicaid, Medicare)
β’ Experience working in Agile environments and knowledge of BI and data integration technologies across relational and multidimensional systems
