Role Description:
Monitoring the health, performance, and stability of Elasticsearch clusters and the entire ELK Stack. Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to data ingestion, indexing, search performance, and system errors. Performing routine maintenance tasks, including upgrades, backups, and data retention policies. Optimizing cluster performance through query optimization, index tuning, and resource management.
Architecting and designing Elasticsearch clusters for scalability, performance, and high availability. Developing data models and indexing strategies for efficient data ingestion and retrieval. Designing security configurations and access controls within the ELK Stack.
Implementing and configuring Elasticsearch clusters, including nodes, indices, and shards. Developing and deploying data ingestion pipelines using Logstash, Beats, or custom scripts. Creating and customizing Kibana dashboards, visualizations, and reports for data analysis and monitoring. Automating deployment and configuration tasks using Shell Scripting and potentially configuration management tools.
