Role description

Position: EMS Engineer/Analyst - 44008-1

Location: 100% remote with travel to Las Vegas, NM occasionally

JD:

We are seeking an experienced EMS Analyst to join our team for a two-year contract position, focusing on an Oracle NMS project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in EMS systems (experience with OSI Monarch is a plus), SCADA, and experience with Oracle databases and/or Oracle systems

Key Responsibilities:

   • Work on the Oracle NMS project, specifically the Oracle Flex SCADA component.

   • Customize and configure the Oracle Flex SCADA module to meet project needs.

   • Integrate the SCADA system with the existing OSI EMS system.

   • Define and manage data points for SCADA and EMS integration.

   • Ensure synchronization of data using ICCP protocol.

   • Work with various RTU protocols, primarily DNP3.

   • Collaborate closely with Oracle project managers and distribution management system teams.

Required Qualifications:

   • Experience SCADA

   • Experience with EMS system (experience with OSI Monarch is a plus).

   • Familiarity with DNP3 (over serial or IP) and ICCP protocols.

   • Experience with Oracle systems and databases to populate, manipulate, and synchronize data.

   • Knowledge of Oracle’s utility suite of products is highly desirable.

   • Proficiency in PL/SQL and scripting languages such as Python and shell scripting
