Role description
We are partnered with a global consultancy that is looking to build out their Endur Engineering Team. These roles will be onsite in Houston, Texas and start out as 6-month contracts with long-term potential. They will be supporting a leading oil and energy client.
We are seeking a highly skilled Endur Engineer to design, develop, and support Openlink Endur solutions for our energy trading and risk management operations. This role involves close collaboration with trading, risk, and back-office teams to ensure Endur supports business needs, maintains system stability, and delivers performance across front-to-back processes.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Design, develop, and implement Endur-based solutions to meet business requirements.
β’ Collaborate with traders, risk managers, and operations teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
β’ Perform system configuration, customization, and integration of Endur with other trading and risk management systems.
β’ Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning to ensure optimal functionality.
β’ Provide technical support, maintenance, and enhancements for existing Endur implementations.
β’ Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices in energy and commodities trading.
β’ Document technical specifications, system configurations, and implementation processes.
β’ Stay updated on Endur platform enhancements, new features, and industry trends.
Required Qualifications
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
β’ 3-5+ years of hands-on experience with Openlink Endur (v17 or higher preferred).
β’ Strong programming experience with Java, .NET, Python, OpenJVS, and/or AVS scripting.
β’ Solid understanding of ETRM concepts, including trade lifecycle, pricing, risk, and settlements.
β’ Experience with SQL, Oracle, or MS SQL Server for data management and reporting.
β’ Familiarity with Endur integration frameworks (e.g., JMS, web services, XML, APIs).
β’ Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
β’ Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
β’ Experience in power, gas, or oil trading markets.
β’ Knowledge of Endur Connex, Market Manager, or Grid modules.
β’ Exposure to cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure) or CI/CD pipelines.
β’ Experience with Python or other scripting tools for automation and data analysis.
β’ Prior involvement in Endur upgrades, migrations, or version transitions.
