Position: Software Engineer 5 Location: Irving, Texas Duration: Contract Job ID: 174628 Only W2 Job Overview: In this contingent resource assignment, you will consult as an expert to develop or influence initiatives and resources for highly complex business and technical needs across Engineering. You will strategize and resolve highly complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas, delivering solutions that are long-term, large-scale, and require vision, creativity, innovation, and advanced analytical and inductive thinking. Additionally, you will provide expertise to senior leadership on innovative Engineering business solutions and strategically engage with personnel. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Python and modern front-end technologies. • Develop and enhance intelligent agents capable of interacting with users and systems (human-in-the-loop and autonomous workflows). • Build scalable backend services and APIs. • Deploy and manage applications on OpenShift or cloud platforms such as Azure or GCP. • Collaborate closely with Operations teams to build self-service tools and automation frameworks. • Implement CI/CD pipelines and follow DevOps best practices. • Ensure application reliability, scalability, and security. • Contribute to architecture discussions and continuous improvement initiatives. Required Skills & Qualifications • 5+ years of full-stack development experience. • Strong programming expertise in Python. • Experience in building and deploying AI/automation agents or workflow-driven systems. • Front-end experience with React, Angular, or similar frameworks. • Hands-on experience with OpenShift OR cloud platforms (Azure / GCP). • Experience with REST APIs, microservices architecture, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes). • Solid understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, and automation practices. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with Generative AI or LLM-based agent frameworks. • Experience building self-service operational dashboards or internal platforms. • Knowledge of monitoring/logging tools and operational automation.
