Position: Engineer (Elasticsearch) Location: Phoenix, AZ (REMOTE) Summary: • Looking for an experienced Engineer to design, implement, and maintain Elasticsearch clusters for real-time search and analytics • Must have expertise in Elastic Stack, including Elastic Cloud Enterprise and managing clusters in production environments • This position is Remote, with occasional travel to Phoenix, AZ Key Responsibilities: • Elasticsearch Design and Implementation • Elasticsearch Maintenance and Support • Elasticsearch Data Management • Elasticsearch Performance Optimization • Elasticsearch Security • Collaboration with Architecture, Engineering, Development, and Operations Teams on Elasticsearch Qualifications: • 7+ years of IT experience with a focus on infrastructure monitoring or observability tools • Expertise in Elastic Stack, including Elastic Cloud Enterprise and managing clusters in production environments • Knowledge of all infrastructure technologies (compute, storage, networking, physical infrastructure, software, Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) and open-source packages and solutions, virtual and cloud, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS); infrastructure management tools and monitoring tools; solution sizing for hardware/software platforms; industry standard security requirements and designs • Troubleshooting; installing and repairing PC hardware and software; advanced design, maintenance and repair of servers; applying creative solutions to business problems to ensure business needs are most effectively met; advanced information system configuration management • Ability to develop and write technical documentation; evaluate and test emerging technologies • Experience with automation containerization and system integration tools • Strong understanding of log management data pipelines and dashboard development • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and contribute to a highly dynamic team environment Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with Elastic Stack/ELK, Elastic Cloud Enterprise (ECE), Logstash, Kafka, Cribl, Docker (or Podman), Ansible, GitLab, ServiceNow, and SIEM platforms Company Description: Paradigm is a strategic consulting firm that turns vision into tangible results.
