Engineer (Entry)

Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for an Engineer (Entry) with our life sciences client in Saint Louis, MO. This is a 6-month contract with a potential for extension. Pay: $47.92 - $52.92/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. Schedule: Hybrid Description: • The selected candidate should be able to support our Quality Systems platform through development on viz and in-house solutions, specifically Pipeline Pilot. • A strong mindset in business insights with a development background will help enable integration of current solution into S/4 Hana and Google Cloud. • Knowledge of industry standard applications and database theory will allow us to transform the business by optimizing our workflow and data processing to deliver data to the shop floor. • Provides technical expertise in a small team format to understand, design and deliver a maintainable data pipeline • The project scope will focus on Pipeline Pilot and SpotFire, with skills in SpotFire, Google BigQuery, and Pipeline Pilot being essential • Build and deploy datasets based on user requirements for visualization and reporting in multiple visualization platforms, with a strong focus on quality and relational integrity • Be able to provide a clear lineage of data used within a visualization, with documentation and organization • Knowledgeable in DevOps, can support the team and build a solid deployment infrastructure • Assist in building sprint schedules, assigning and completing support tickets, and bug trackers • Experience working in QA • Develop data visualizations and drive reporting solutions based on feedback from Engineers, IT developers and End Users needs • Help our engineers and IT developers create data reports for business, gathering requirements and investigating needs • Will work with the manager, regional automation or process engineers depending on the site Skill Set: • Education: Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Comp Sci or related field • Experience Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Manufacturing - Life Science, Quality Systems or related field • 3-5 years building production solutions with Bovia Pipeline Pilot, including component authoring, protocol design, and web services • 3+ years with TIBCO Spotfire or PowerBi, including Google Big Query, Iron Python scripting, data functions, Information Links, and Automation Services • Experience in managing and communicating complex projects and collaborating with cross functional teams to accomplish project goals within expected timelines. • Domain knowledge in data process automation, scheduling and data architecture using SQL, Python, R, SAS, or other common languages • Demonstrated strong oral and written communication, persuasiveness, and ability to communicate complex analytical approaches to all levels of business leadership • Demonstrated innovative solutions and self-lead discoveries of new technologies • History of meeting tight deadlines and providing accurate estimates of time required to complete complex tasks • ETL experience with different ranges of technology • Knowledge of Denodo/Data virtualization experience preferred • Knowledgeable on deployment process flow concepts • Strong initiative, results orientation, and able to work independently with minimal direction. • Demonstrated ability to see differing perspectives and work cross-functionally.
