ForgeRock / Ping Identity Engineer – Contract 📍 Leamington Spa / Gaydon (Hybrid) 📅 6-month contract | Start: ASAP 💷 Competitive day rate (INSIDE IR35) The Role Our client, a top global, are looking for an experienced ForgeRock / Ping Identity Engineer to join on a 6-month contract, working on the design, implementation, and management of enterprise-grade Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions. You’ll be responsible for deploying and supporting ForgeRock (AM, IDM, DS) and PingOne Advanced Identity Cloud (AIC) platforms, ensuring security, scalability, and seamless integration across a wide range of applications and systems. This is a hands-on technical role with strong stakeholder engagement and opportunities to work across cloud and hybrid environments. Key Responsibilities • Design, configure, and deploy ForgeRock and PingOne AIC components across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments. • Develop custom workflows, authentication/authorization policies, and integrations using Java, JavaScript, or Groovy. • Implement SSO, MFA, and Federation using SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect. • Configure and manage directories such as LDAP and Active Directory within IAM platforms. • Automate deployment/configuration using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or similar. • Monitor, administer, and maintain ForgeRock/PingOne environments, ensuring performance, availability, and compliance. • Perform upgrades, patching, and migrations of IAM components. • Integrate IAM platforms with web, mobile, API, and SaaS applications. • Troubleshoot integration issues and support application teams to deliver seamless identity management. Essential Experience • 3–5 years’ experience implementing ForgeRock AM, IDM, and DS. • Proven expertise in automated deployment and configuration for ForgeRock solutions. • Strong knowledge of identity protocols (SAML, OAuth, OIDC) and directory services (LDAP, Active Directory). Desirable • Exposure to ForgeRock IG and PingOne AIC. • Familiarity with Agile delivery methods. • Strong scripting/development skills (Java, Groovy, JavaScript).
