Title: Intermediate to Senior Software Engineer Headcount: 1 Location: Redondo Beach, CA onsite 0% travel Why Hiring: Need to support mission operational software product lines; Enhance capabilities for national security mission. End Product: Development and sustainment of software for Ground Solutions and Mission Support. Tech/Domain Environment: - C++ - Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) - Agile methodologies - Atlassian Tool Suite (Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket, Bamboo) Job Duties: - Develop C++ software in an agile team environment. - Design and implement software per Mathematical Algorithm Requirements (MARs). - Troubleshoot and resolve software discrepancies. - Collaborate with subject matter experts across software subsystems. - Conduct unit testing for new software capabilities. - Document software development processes and outcomes. Must Haves: - Bachelor's in STEM + 5 years experience in software development. - Proficient in C++ programming in production, with codebases > 100k lines. - Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) in production environments. - Active SSBI clearance at application, ability to obtain SCI clearance. - Demonstrated problem-solving skills with quantifiable outcomes. - U.S. citizenship required. Nice to Haves: - Experience with DevSecOps Test Automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, Selenium). - Familiarity with programming/scripting languages: Java, Python, Perl. - Previous Agile scrum team participation with > 2 sprints. - Experience using git in a Linux development environment. - Active SCI security clearance. Disqualifiers: - No experience with C++ in production environments. - No active SSBI clearance at application. - Only academic experience with software development. Data/Perf Targets: - Code coverage > 80% for unit tests. - Response time for software fixes < 100 ms. Security/Clearance: - Active SSBI preferred; ability to obtain SCI clearance.
