Role description
β’ Acts as a data steward, technical advisor, and operational partner
β’ Ensures asset data is reliable, actionable, and aligned with the organizationβs maintenance and asset management goals
β’ Manages, analyzes, and interprets Asset and Location data within the IBM Maximo Asset Management system
β’ Supports asset management and maintenance operations through data integrity and data-driven insights
β’ Works closely with maintenance, engineering, and IT teams to optimize asset lifecycle management and improve operational efficiency
Key Responsibilities
β’ Accurately load, import, validate, and maintain asset and location records in Maximo
β’ Gather, prepare, and consolidate data from multiple sources for system upload
β’ Map source data to appropriate Maximo fields
β’ Perform data quality checks to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency
β’ Review engineering drawings and related asset documentation
β’ Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot data discrepancies
β’ Extract, clean, and analyze data from the Maximo system to support business objectives
β’ Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs for asset performance, maintenance activities, and compliance
β’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements, automate workflows, and streamline reporting
β’ Work closely with site teams and Maximo users to collect required information and resolve data-related issues
β’ Support both initial data loads and ongoing data updates
β’ Assist with troubleshooting and resolving Maximo-related data issues
β’ Provide recommendations based on data trends and predictive analytics to optimize preventive and corrective maintenance
β’ Support Maximo system upgrades, configuration changes, and data migration initiatives
β’ Train users on automated data entry, reporting tools, and best practices for maintaining data quality
Qualifications & Skills
β’ Experience working with IBM Maximo or similar Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems
β’ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
β’ Proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Excel, and data visualization tools such as Power BI
β’ Solid understanding of asset management, maintenance processes, and reliability principles
β’ Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders
β’ High attention to detail and strong commitment to data accuracy and quality
β’ Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
β’ Capable of explaining technical issues and resolutions to both technical and non-technical audiences
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business, or a related technical field
β’ Or 8+ years of equivalent professional experience
