Engineering Data Analyst (W2 Contract) β€’ Mountain View, CA | Fully Onsite β€’ EPITEC β€’ 6?month contract- possible to extension β€’ $63–$64/hr W2 β€’ No C2C Overview We’re seeking an Engineering Data Analyst to support Samsung’s Core Engineering organization. In this embedded role, you’ll partner with engineering leadership to build and maintain an engineering intelligence platform spanning delivery metrics, quality indicators, and team health analytics across global teams in the US, Bangalore, and Warsaw. Key Responsibilities β€’ Build and maintain dashboards for sprint velocity, cycle time, release frequency, and deployment success β€’ Automate reporting pipelines using Python β€’ Establish standardized engineering metrics across global teams β€’ Track and analyze quality metrics (bug rates, test coverage, incidents, technical debt) β€’ Develop capacity planning and utilization dashboards β€’ Analyze hiring pipeline and attrition data for workforce planning β€’ Integrate data from JIRA, Workday, Git, and CI/CD tools β€’ Design and maintain large?scale ETL processes β€’ Deliver weekly/monthly reports and support quarterly business reviews β€’ Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights Required Qualifications β€’ Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical or related field β€’ 3–5 years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence β€’ Strong SQL (complex, multi?source datasets) β€’ Python or R for data analysis and automation β€’ BI tools: Tableau, Power BI, or similar β€’ Experience with engineering tools/workflows (JIRA, Git, CI/CD) β€’ Ability to work independently in a fast?paced environment β€’ Strong written and verbal communication skills Preferred β€’ Looker / LookML experience β€’ Engineering metrics (velocity, cycle time, DORA) β€’ HR/people analytics exposure β€’ dbt, Airflow, or similar pipeline tools β€’ Experience working with global, distributed teams Location & Availability β€’ Fully onsite: Mountain View, CA β€’ Pacific time; some overlap with Bangalore (AM) and Warsaw (PM) #INDPRO
