What You’ll Do This is a highly technical role with leadership potential. You’ll work directly with the founders and be responsible for designing, building, and evolving the core of our platform. Immediate Responsibilities • Lead development of our React/TypeScript frontend and Supabase/PostgreSQL backend • Design and optimize complex database schemas, views, and analytics workflows • Build integrations with enterprise systems (SSO, ERP, CLM, HRIS) • Implement real-time analytics for cost optimization, shadow IT detection, and usage trends • Architect secure, scalable, multi-tenant infrastructure with RLS and API-first design AI/ML & Advanced Analytics (Roadmap Features) • Integrate ML models for predictive insights, anomaly detection, and cost recommendations • Build NLP capabilities for contract analysis, vendor risk detection, and auto-tagging • Design and implement real-time streaming pipelines and data lake architecture • Establish MLOps practices for deployment, monitoring, and model iteration Leadership & Strategy • Influence the technical roadmap, architecture, and long-term scalability • Collaborate directly with the CEO/CTO on product strategy • Help build our engineering culture, eventually recruit and mentor additional devs • Be a founding engineer with a voice in everything from code to company direction What We’re Looking ForCore Engineering Skills • 5+ years in full-stack development, ideally in high-growth startups • Deep expertise in React, TypeScript, Node.js • Advanced SQL and PostgreSQL experience (materialized views, stored procedures, perf tuning) • Experience building or integrating with enterprise systems and APIs • Supabase or similar backend platform experience a plus AI/ML & Data Engineering (Bonus Points) • Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn), TensorFlow or PyTorch • Experience with ETL, real-time pipelines, data warehousing • NLP experience for intelligent document or contract processing • MLOps know-how (versioning, deployment, monitoring) Leadership & Soft Skills • Entrepreneurial mindset and extreme ownership mentality • Strong communication across technical and non-technical audiences • Prior team leadership or technical mentorship experience • Comfortable in ambiguity, fast-moving environments, and building from scratch Our Stack • Frontend: React, TypeScript, Vite, Tailwind, shadcn/ui, Framer Motion • Backend: Supabase (PostgreSQL, Row-Level Security), API-first architecture • Infra: Scalable cloud setup designed for rapid iteration • Analytics: Heavy SQL, real-time processing, stored procedures • AI/ML (coming): Python stack, streaming data, ML model serving What We Offer • Significant equity stake in a high-growth startup • Competitive pay • Full technical ownership and autonomy • Direct collaboration with founders—your voice will shape the company • Flexible hybrid work, unlimited PTO • The chance to build something real, fast, and lean—with actual customer traction Why Now Is the Time to Join We’ve proven product-market fit.
