Role description
Company Overview:
A leading global alternative investment manager focuses on private equity, credit, and real estate investments. They are seeking an Enterprise Data Support Analyst to join their team in a hybrid role that blends data support and investment operations.
Job Responsibilities:
β’ Monitor and manage Jira tickets related to data issues across investment systems.
β’ Perform initial triage and root cause analysis of support tickets; escalate as needed.
β’ Communicate effectively with stakeholders on issue status and resolution timelines.
β’ Partner with Data, Risk, Engineering, and other internal teams to address complex data issues.
β’ Document recurring issues and resolutions to build a robust knowledge base.
β’ Support the full lifecycle of trades: booking, reconciliation, settlement, and exception resolution.
β’ Oversee position and cash reconciliations across custodians, accounting systems, and Bloomberg.
β’ Maintain and enhance the accuracy of the Security Master and trade data across platforms.
β’ Identify and implement process improvements and data automation initiatives.
β’ Support onboarding of new products, accounts, and counterparties with accurate system integration.
β’ Contribute to audit readiness by ensuring consistent documentation and process standardization.
β’ Uphold data governance standards and ensure data integrity across systems.
β’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on trade and data workflows.
β’ Participate in ongoing projects involving new system integrations, process enhancements, and scaling initiatives.
Qualifications:
β’ Bachelorβs degree in finance, information systems, computer science, or related field.
β’ 5+ years of experience in investment operations or data support roles within financial services.
β’ Deep understanding of the trade lifecycle and related operational processes.
β’ Experience with data support tools (e.g., Jira) and comfort navigating data platforms.
β’ Proficiency in managing structured credit, bank debt, derivatives, and other complex instruments.
β’ Strong reconciliation, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
β’ Effective communicator with strong documentation habits and stakeholder engagement experience.
β’ Familiarity with platforms such as ThinkFolio, Aladdin, SS&C Geneva, Clearwater, or similar systems is a plus.
β’ Proven track record of identifying process inefficiencies and implementing automated solutions.
Compensation: Pay Rate: $50 β $90/hr
