Job Role: Enterprise MDM & Data Governance Architect – Government Health Location: Austin, TX (Onsite / Hybrid as per HHSC requirements) Duration: Long-Term Contract Interview Process: 1 round virtual/video Final review by HHSC Hiring Manager Visa Status: US Citizen or Green Card (government client requirement) Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Lead MDM Admin/Developer to support the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) within the Enterprise Data Governance (EDG) group as part of the Enterprise Information Management (EIM) program. This is an architect-level, hands-on leadership role responsible for the strategy, architecture, and implementation of HHSC’s Master Data Management (MDM) solution. The successful candidate will lead enterprise-wide MDM initiatives that improve client data quality across multiple healthcare systems and enable unified, enterprise reporting across client domain data. The role requires deep expertise in Informatica MDM, ETL development, enterprise data architecture, and data governance, along with strong leadership and communication skills. Candidates with Medicaid or government healthcare experience are highly preferred, though hospital system experience will also be considered. Key Responsibilities · Lead the architecture, design, development, and implementation of HHSC’s MDM solution. · Design, develop, test, and maintain enhancements to MDM application layers. · Build and manage ETL processes to load and integrate data from multiple client systems into MDM platforms. · Perform logical and physical data modeling for MDM databases. · Collaborate closely with EIM data architects, client subject matter experts, and system owners to align as-is and to-be data models and processes. · Oversee metadata loads and operational MDM processes. · Plan, monitor, and manage the full MDM project lifecycle, including deployment and enhancements. · Lead Agile sprint planning, task breakdown, coordination, and delivery tracking. · Facilitate cross-functional discussions to define and communicate MDM and Data Governance success factors to technical teams, stakeholders, and leadership. · Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development and data teams. · Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Required Qualifications · 8+ years of experience as a Technical Architect leading enterprise-wide data management solutions · 8+ years of advanced Informatica and ETL development experience · 8+ years designing and implementing Master Data Management (MDM) solutions · 8+ years of Informatica PowerCenter custom solution development · Strong proficiency in SQL and database technologies · Extensive experience managing MDM and Data Governance deliverables, including roadmaps, frameworks, technical design documents, and data models · Proven ability to lead teams and manage large-scale, complex data initiatives · Strong verbal and written communication skills Preferred Qualifications · Informatica MDM development experience · Experience with HHSC TIERS · Healthcare domain experience (priority order): o Medicaid o Government Medical o Hospital Systems Job Type: Contract Pay: $75.00 - $80.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Work Location: In person
