Enterprise Resources Planning Business Analyst

The ERP Business Analyst acts as the bridge between business users and ERP delivery teams. This role focuses on understanding business processes, defining functional requirements, and ensuring ERP solutions meet operational and reporting needs. Key Responsibilities • Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements for ERP initiatives • Translate business needs into functional specifications for ERP configuration or development • Analyze current‑state processes and support future‑state design • Partner with ERP consultants, developers, and system integrators to clarify requirements • Support testing activities, including test scenario creation and UAT coordination • Assist with data validation, reporting, and process optimization • Provide ongoing support for ERP enhancements, upgrades, and production issues • Serve as a liaison between business users, IT, and external vendors Required Skills & Experience • Experience working with ERP systems in a business or IT-facing role • Strong understanding of business processes in Finance, HR, Supply Chain, or Operations • Experience writing functional requirements, process flows, and user stories • Ability to work with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills Preferred Qualifications • Prior experience as an ERP Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Functional Lead • Exposure to cloud ERP environments • Experience supporting ERP implementations or large‑scale system transformations • Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project methodologies The pay range for this position is $45 to $64/hr W2.
