Industry/Department: Advanced Engineering – Automotive AI/Infotainment Position Summary: Our client is seeking a passionate and innovative Entry-Level Generative AI Engineer to join their team. This entry-level role is ideal for recent graduates excited to explore how Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) can transform in-vehicle infotainment, driver assistance, and connected car experiences. You will work closely with senior engineers to prototype, train, and deploy AI models that power next-generation automotive systems. Key Responsibilities: β€’ Assist in fine-tuning and evaluating generative AI models for automotive applications, including voice assistants, driver information systems, and predictive maintenance. β€’ Support the development of prompt engineering strategies for natural language-based in-vehicle interactions. β€’ Help preprocess and clean text, audio, and telematics datasets for AI model training. β€’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI models into infotainment and telematics platforms. β€’ Research emerging Gen AI trends to identify potential automotive use cases (e.g., personalized infotainment recommendations, AI copilots for drivers). β€’ Document experiments, results, and best practices for knowledge sharing. Required Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field. Technical Skills: β€’ Proficiency in Python β€’ DevOps CI/CD β€’ Software Development experience β€’ API’s β€’ Database knowledge Soft Skills: β€’ Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset. β€’ Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, innovative environment. β€’ Enthusiasm for applying AI to automotive user experiences. Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have): β€’ Familiarity with embedded systems or automotive software development is a plus. β€’ Hands-on experience or academic projects in voice recognition, speech synthesis, or multimodal AI. β€’ Knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet). β€’ Familiarity with cloud-based AI services (AWS SageMaker, Azure Cognitive Services). β€’ Understanding of functional safety and cybersecurity considerations for AI in automotive systems.
