Requirement:
Title- Senior Epic BI Developer
Location-Remote- DDC
Pay Range β Depends on Experience
Location- Local to an office location (SF, Oakland, or Alpharetta). Candidates local to office locations would be expected to be in office 2-3 days a week.
As a Senior Epic System Analyst - Reporting and Analytics, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing reporting and analytics solutions within the Epic EHR environment. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of Epic reporting tools, data structures, and analytics to enhance decision-making processes and support our organization's commitment to data-driven healthcare.
Skills/Experience:
β’ 3+ years of Epic Data Architecture and Integration experience
β’ 10+ years focused technical work within a data and ETL
β’ Expert knowledge of Epic modules, terminology, data stores (Chronicles, Clarity, Caboodle) and Hyperspace self-service reporting tools including Reporting Workbench, Slicer Dicer models and Radar Dashboards.
β’ Strong working knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR, CCDs etc.)
β’ Experience performing data discovery, analysis, and profiling
β’ Experience creating logical source-to-target mappings which data can use
β’ Experience designing and building solutions that ingest data via APIs
β’ Very strong SQL query language skills
β’ Business and technical requirements elicitation, analysis, and elaboration experience
β’ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
β’ Strong consulting, problem-solving, and customer relationship skills
β’ Ability to navigate HL7, CDA, and flat fileformatted data

β’ Ability to understand data structures that could benefit the entire data environment
β’ For financial reporting: Prior experience working with an AR system is desirable, but not required
β’ For clinical reporting: Prior experience working with an EMR system is desirable, but not required
β’ Understanding of system build, end user workflows, and patterns of use
