Role description
Responsibilities Kforce has a client that is looking for a Reporting Analyst with Epic experience and strong SQL capabilities. This remote position plays a critical role in supporting internal stakeholders by developing and maintaining reports, resolving data requests, and working through a backlog of reporting tickets. The ideal candidate will have an Epic certification (clinical or revenue cycle), deep SQL expertise, and experience as a BI Developer in a healthcare setting. Key Responsibilities: β€’ Develop and maintain reports using Epic tools such as Clarity, Caboodle, Reporting Workbench, and Radar Dashboards β€’ Act as a BI Developer, supporting internal customers with data-driven insights and reporting solutions β€’ Receive and manage reporting requests via ticketing systems, working through a backlog of tickets efficiently and accurately. β€’ Write and run complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and deliver data to stakeholders β€’ Perform joins (inner, outer, left, right) and cross joins to support advanced reporting needs β€’ Communicate directly with internal customers to clarify requirements and deliver data in a timely and accurate manner β€’ Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across all reports and dashboards β€’ Perform data validation and quality assurance on Epic data extracts β€’ Monitor and optimize report performance and troubleshoot issues as needed β€’ Maintain documentation for report specifications, data sources, and logic β€’ Stay current with Epic upgrades and new reporting functionalities Requirements β€’ Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, Data Analytics, or related field β€’ 2+ years of experience in reporting or data analysis, preferably in a healthcare setting β€’ Epic certification in either clinical or revenue cycle modules is required β€’ Proven experience as a BI Developer or Reporting Analyst in a healthcare environment β€’ Very strong SQL skills, including writing complex queries, joins, and cross joins β€’ Experience working with relational databases and large datasets β€’ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills β€’ Excellent communication and collaboration skills β€’ Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus Preferred β€’ Familiarity with healthcare workflows and terminology β€’ Experience with ETL processes and data warehousing β€’ Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
