Epicor Prophet 21 Developer

Role: Epicor Prophet 21 Developer Location: Remote Rate: Open Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Prophet 21 ERP Developer / Technical Consultant to support the maintenance, enhancement, and future cloud migration of the Epicor Prophet 21 ERP system. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Prophet 21 development, SQL Server, system integrations, and ERP architecture. Experience migrating ERP systems from on-premises environments to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is highly preferred. This role will play a key part in ensuring system stability, performance, and successful migration to cloud infrastructure. Key Responsibilities • Provide technical support, development, and customization for Epicor Prophet 21 ERP system • Participate in planning and executing migration of Prophet 21 from on-premises to cloud environments • Develop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and database objects • Perform data migration, validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting during ERP upgrades or migration • Design, develop, and support integrations between Prophet 21 and other enterprise systems • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical ERP solutions • Troubleshoot system issues, identify root causes, and implement fixes • Support ERP system upgrades, patches, and performance tuning • Collaborate with business users, infrastructure teams, and external vendors • Create and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations and migration procedures Required Skills • Strong hands-on experience with Epicor Prophet 21 ERP • Strong SQL Server experience, including query writing and performance tuning • Experience with ERP development, customization, and support • Experience with ERP implementation, upgrade, or migration projects • Strong understanding of ERP system architecture and data structures • Experience with ERP integrations, APIs, or middleware • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills • Good communication and documentation skills Preferred Skills • Experience migrating Prophet 21 or similar ERP systems to cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS • Experience with other ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle ERP, or Microsoft Dynamics • Experience with cloud infrastructure, database migration, and application deployment • Experience working with ERP integrations, ETL tools, and data migration tools • Experience supporting distribution, manufacturing, or supply chain business processes
