Role description
Insight Global is seeking an Infor Reporting Analyst to join our ERP Support team, focused on delivering critical reporting solutions and maintaining Power BI dashboards for our Infor/Lawson ERP system (on-premises). This contract-to-hire role addresses a key gap in ad-hoc and compliance reporting, supporting our Human Capital Management (HCM) operations and other business functions. With the potential to grow into a development-focused role, this is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated, problem-solving professional to make an impact in a dynamic, data-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Generate ad-hoc reports from Infor modules, including Global Human Resources (GHR), Expense Management (XP), UKG, and HCM, to support operational needs.
β’ Extract and analyze data using SQL and Inforβs reporting tools to meet stakeholder requests for benefits, operational, audit, and compliance reporting.
β’ Ensure data accuracy and timely delivery of reports to business units, including HR, finance, and operations teams.
β’ Develop and deliver monthly, bi-annual, and annual reports to meet compliance, regulatory, and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) requirements.
β’ Support audit processes by providing accurate, well-documented data pulls and trend analyses.
β’ Maintain and update existing Power BI dashboards as part of the organizationβs transition from Business Objects to Power BI.
β’ Collaborate with the BI Developer to support dashboard development, performing tasks such as adding or modifying fields, optimizing visualizations, and troubleshooting issues.
β’ Ensure dashboards are user-friendly, secure, and aligned with business requirements.
β’ Provide operational support for data integrations, security configurations, and connections within and outside the Infor/Lawson database.
β’ Participate in system enhancement projects, including process flow design, testing, and implementation.
β’ Prioritize tasks effectively to balance daily reporting demands with project-based work.
The team supports all data integrations, platform security, configuration, and system enhancements for the Infor/Lawson environment, with a focus on delivering actionable insights.
Infor Environment The role will primarily focus on reporting from the following Infor modules:
β’ Global Human Resources (GHR): Core HR data management.
β’ Expense Management (XP): Tracking and reporting expenses.
β’ UKG: Workforce management integration.
β’ Human Capital Management (HCM): Primary area of reporting need, including benefits, compliance, and operational reporting.
Requirements
β’ Basic understanding of database structures and proficiency in SQL, JavaScript, and Lawson-specific scripting languages.
β’ Experience in report development, preferably in HCM or HR reporting within an ERP system (Infor/Lawson strongly preferred).
β’ Working knowledge of Power BI for dashboard maintenance and upkeep (e.g., updating fields, optimizing visualizations).
β’ Strong data analysis skills with a curious mindset, able to interpret requests and deliver actionable solutions.
β’ Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple reporting demands effectively.
β’ Self-starter with a proactive approach, seeking additional work when tasks are complete.
β’ Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently while collaborating with stakeholders.
β’ Proven experience in report development within an ERP environment, ideally Infor/Lawson.
β’ Familiarity with HCM reporting processes, such as benefits, compliance, or EEO reporting.
Preferred Qualifications
β’ Experience in the healthcare industry, particularly with compliance and regulatory reporting.
β’ Prior experience with Infor/Lawson modules (GHR, XP, HCM, or UKG) is a significant advantage.
