β’ The ideal candidate must have working knowledge of Python, SQL, Power BI, and Snowflake, develop Power BI dashboards, and write SQL queries.
β’ Must have familiarity in AI and Copilot.

Role Summary:
β’ Client is seeking a Developer to deliver end-to-end analytics solutions across modern data platforms.
β’ Candidates will build and optimize datasets in SQL Server, Snowflake, and Microsoft Fabric, develop analytics in Python, and deliver executive-ready insights through Tableau and Power BI.
β’ Candidates will also leverage Microsoft Copilot and other AI-assisted tools to accelerate analysis, development, documentation, and stakeholder supportβwhile applying strong validation,
β’ governance, and data quality practices.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Gather requirements, define KPIs, and translate business needs into scalable analytics deliverables (datasets, semantic models, dashboards, and insights).
β’ Write and optimize advanced SQL across SQL Server, Snowflake, and Microsoft Fabric (Warehouse/Lakehouse).
β’ Design and maintain analytics-ready data models (dimensional/star schemas, curated layers, reusable views/tables).
β’ Build, enhance, and performance-tune dashboards and reporting in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, semantic models) and Tableau.
β’ Use Python (e.g., pandas, NumPy; optional scikit-learn/statsmodels) for data wrangling, statistical analysis, forecasting, experimentation support, and automation.
β’ Implement data validation and quality controls (reconciliation, anomaly checks, refresh monitoring, metric certification).
β’ Develop within Microsoft Fabric using relevant components (e.g., notebooks, Dataflows Gen2, pipelines, Lakehouse/Warehouse, semantic models) as applicable.
β’ Communicate findings clearly, create concise executive narratives, and recommend actions backed by data.
β’ Maintain documentation for metric definitions, logic, lineage, and operational runbooks to support hand-off.
Leverage Microsoft Copilot and AI tools (e.g., Copilot for Power BI/Fabric/M365 and other approved assistants) to:
β’ Accelerate SQL/DAX generation and refactoring.
β’ Speed up dashboard prototyping and narrative insights.
β’ Draft documentation and data dictionaries.
β’ Support stakeholder Q&A and self-service enablement, while ensuring correctness through testing and peer/stakeholder validation.
Required Skills and Experience:
β’ 7 to 10 plus years in data analytics/BI/consulting (or equivalent senior-level experience).
β’ Advanced SQL expertise (CTEs, window functions, complex joins, query tuning).
β’ Strong experience with SQL Server (T-SQL) and performance optimization.
β’ Experience with Snowflake (warehouse concepts, optimization/cost awareness, security basics).
β’ Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse/Warehouse concepts; pipelines/dataflows/notebooks; semantic modeling).
β’ Strong dashboard development skills in Power BI (DAX, modeling, performance) and Tableau.
β’ Proficiency in Python for analytics and automation.
β’ Demonstrated ability to use AI-assisted tools productively with appropriate guardrails (validation, privacy, reproducibility).
β’ Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and independent delivery skills.
Deliverables / Success Measures:
β’ Reliable, documented KPI definitions and curated datasets used consistently across teams.
β’ High-performing, user-friendly dashboards in Power BI/Tableau with measurable adoption.
