ETL Developer (Addison or Charlotte)

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a ETL Developer (Addison or Charlotte) to join their team. As a ETL Developer (Addison or Charlotte), you will be part of the Data Management Department supporting the Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: ETL Developer (Addison or Charlotte) Location:Charlotte, NC Pay Range What's the Job? • Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes to support data warehousing initiatives. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and propose innovative solutions. • Lead projects and guide team members in technical tasks and best practices. • Analyze production issues, identify root causes, and implement effective work-around solutions. • Work on weekends approximately once per month, with potential compensatory time during weekdays. What's Needed? • 10+ years of experience in ETL and data warehousing development. • Proficiency with Python, Hadoop, HDFS, Spark, Impala, Hive, and related technologies. • Strong SQL skills, particularly with Oracle databases. • Basic knowledge of Linux shell scripting. • Experience with AutoSys job scheduling is a plus.
